The location of our dental office and the community it is in is very special to our practice. Being just outside of downtown Fort Worth, alongside the Fort Worth Zoo, near to the beautiful Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and just off the Texas Christian University (TCU) main campus is what makes our location so special within the city.
It’s very easy to access the office from Highway 30 or 35 and Chisholm Trail exiting on Rosedale and turning onto Forest Park. We have many local patients who don’t need to travel due to our convenient location and many that come from other areas of the
metroplex or farther. No matter where you come from you are welcome and valued in the office.
The community of Park Hill is situated on a bluff above the Fort Worth Zoo, where the homes are mostly large Spanish-inspired
and Tudor-style homes. Park Hill, the central road, in which we are located offers neighborhood restaurants like Park Hill Café, Enchiladas Ole’ Forest Park and Greek House, to name a few.
The history of the area is interesting as well and goes back over a century. In 1915, a Fort Worth artist convinced the Fairmount Land Company to contribute 6 acres of land in the area to build a children’s hospital – the Fort Worth Free Baby hospital. Located at 2400 Winton Terrace West, much of this land was used for raising cows, chickens and fruit trees for children in the hospital. The hospital existed for more than 40 years before it was abandoned. The land is now occupied by homes.
Our dental office is tucked between South University Drive and 8th avenue, making us a stone’s throw away from the trendy Magnolia Avenue full of restaurants like the famous Heim Barbecue, Spiral Diner And Bakery, Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken, Lili’s Bistro and Cane Rosso oven-fired pizza to name a few. If you have not dined in this area it’s a great place to check
out. Magnolia also offers Melt Ice Cream(so good!), Soul Sweat Hot Yoga and so much more. It’s a great place to walk and people watch. We actually sponsor a plot in a community garden just a few blocks up the street.
Being connected to the community, supporting local businesses and taking part in discussion making that affect the area are at the core importance to us. We are so grateful to the community for the support they offer and are proud to be located where we are. Our patients mean the world to us. Next time you are in the office we recommend you stop by a local coffee shop or restaurant and try it out. If you’re looking for any recommendations be sure to ask the next time you are in the office.
